4. Arab Open University- Kuwait: founded in the year 2002, with its Kuwaiti Campus as one of the first 3 branches in all over Middle East. Today, the AOU also operates in Lebanon, Jordan Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman, and Sudan. AOU offers several courses in partnership with the UK’s Open University that include undergraduate honors programs in Business (Marketing, Management, Accounting, and Systems Practice), Information Technology, Graphic & Multimedia Design, English Language & Literature, Elementary Education, and Special Education. The post-graduate degrees are of Business (MBA), Computing, Information Security & Forensics, English Literature, Educational Technology, and Educational Leadership.

American University of Kuwait: a private college established in the year 2002 with inclination towards liberal arts, the American University of Kuwait is one of the best universities of the State for international students. Kuwait College of Science and Technology: a young university established in the year 2016 that offers undergraduate programs that were structured together with the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Its only academic department is that of the Faculty of Engineering which provides courses in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering. 10. Kuwait Technical College: also known as KTECH, the university founded in the year 2014 believes in promoting practical approach to education. The institution offers 2-year Associates Degrees in Network Systems Administration & Security, Network Design & Administration, E-Commerce, Management of Information Systems, and Sales & Marketing along with 2-year diploma courses in Web Applications & Programming and Software Applications & Programming.
Entry requirements for Indian Students
You
will require a Kuwait Visa for all entry purposes if you are not a citizen of
the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC). As said earlier, Kuwait Visit Visa must be
sponsored by a relative staying in Kuwait, a Kuwaiti company or a foreigner
residing in Kuwait which is valid for a period of 3 months but can be extended
either through online of offline application or you can even re-apply for the
Kuwaiti Visa.
International
students who wish to study in Kuwait must apply for Kuwait Student Visa, from
their home country’s Kuwait Embassy, immediately after having received a
confirmation from the higher education institution in which they applied for a
higher education program.
In
order to apply for a Student/Work Visa in Kuwait, one must have the following
documents ready:
- Completed Visa
application form and visa fees receipt
- Confirmation letter/Acceptance letter from the educational institution/employer in Kuwait
- Financial resources evidence stating that you possess enough funds to cover your living expenses in Kuwait
- A covering letter
from your sponsor institution/ employer explaining the reason for your relocation
- A valid Passport
with at least 6 months validity before the expiration date
- One passport-size
photograph
- Health
Certificate: Indicating that you are in good health and do not have any contagious
diseases
- Police Clearance
Certificate stating that you do have any criminal record
